January 2014

In January, I’m launching a personal one-month contemplation journal challenge (#contemplationjournal) to help me begin the new year with greater insight.
Contemplation is the practice of simply holding something in mind, within one’s awareness, for some time—allowing various truths or realizations to reveal themselves of their own accord. –via The Elephant Journal.
Each day in January, I’ll be contemplating a word (see word list above) and then posting an image on Instagram and Twitter that reflects the word. iPhoneographers....find a photo in your camera roll that you believe reflects the daily word or create a new image. Post the photo to Instagram or Twitter using hashtag #contemplationjournal so we can find each other in webland.
I have been using my iPhoneography images for contemplative journaling for several months now and I've been surprised at the insights and dis-coveries! Want to know how to use YOUR photos for contemplative journaling? Check out my CONTEMPLATIONS website to find out how to do a 7-minute photo contemplation: http://thecreativei.postach.io/
